Congratulations
The parishes which are currently participating in the Parish Assistance Fund would like to congratulate the parishioners of Our Lady of Hope parish in Sudbury, Sacre Coeur in Sturgeon Falls and St Gerard Majella in Sault Ste. Marie for bringing their recent construction projects to completion.
Fundraising to repay the outstanding loans to the Parish Assistance Fund continues. Sacre Coeur has paid off their loan to the parishes.
Royal Bank of Canada and the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie
We are making good progress in the continuing switch to the Royal Bank of Canada as the banking institution where accounts from the diocese are held.
Thank you to those parishes who have already completed the transition, and assisted in the process of making the change over increasingly seamless for other parishes who are yet to make the change.
If your parish is ready to make the switch, please contact David Sirois at (705) 674-2727, Ext 237 or dsirois@diocesecentre.com for further details about how to proceed. Our target for completion of this change over is December 15, 2006.
Pre-Approved Debit Program
For those who are implementing the PADP programme in their parishes, please remember to change the diocesan banking institution to the Royal Bank of Canada.
