A gift to the world

We're looking for gifted homilists to share their sermons with the rest of the Diocese and the world.
A gift to the world

St. Paul states in 1 Corinthians 12 that there are many gifts of the Spirit, and to each is given certain abilities.

The DeoWeb Communications team is looking for the especially gifted homilists to profile on the diocesan newspaper. Homilies will be posted in audio format, and text as well if the pastor keeps written copies.

Rev. Anthony Man-Son-Hing preaches to the world

There is already one parish priest with his own podcast. Rev. Anthony Man-Son-Hing launched This Foreign Land (text, audio) back in November. Since then, hundreds of people have been listening in on a weekly basis. The Catholic Register wrote an article about his use of online communications.

Who else deserves a wider audience? You decide

Suggest a pastor whose homilies in your opinion deserve to be heard by people outside of the pews in his parish. Submit the pastor's name and why you feel he is an ideal choice.

We are looking especially for a pastor preaching in French.

You can submit your entries by adding a comment to this news item at the bottom, or by emailing support@diocesessm.org .

As a parishener from St-Jacques parish in Hanmer, I would like to hear homilies from my parish priest Roch Martin as well as Jean Legault, JP Jolicoeur and Gerald Lajeunesse. This is a great initiative and it would be nice to be able to listen to them in French as well.
